the combat gameplay of roguelike game Abandon Ship.

combat is tedious and unenjoyable, it's EXTREMELY repetitive, having to search around for light seeds just to advance the plot is stupid, and do to the fact that you can't really die the whole game just feels like trial and error, and the new Prince character is completely unlikeable, while they messed up most
of the game it's got some good things going for it, the voice acting is solid, the graphics are beautiful, and the ending does have interested in seeing where the story goes from here, but I'm not sure if I want to pick up the next game they come out with, this was a huge disappointment and isn't worthy to bear the Prince
of Persia name.
Final fantasy XII has what i consider the most enjoyable
combat /
gameplay / freedom
of the entire series by a insurmountable margin.
Take this game for example: keep a random encounters ratio
of 10 monsters / minute, keep the non-existent interaction with the world, keep a simplicistic
combat system (they weren't so simplicistic even back then) and discard good stories, nice graphics (the graphics
of this game would have been considered amateurish at best on a super nes),
gameplay, exploration, sense
of wonder.
It tells a marvellous story, through solid
gameplay which shines in the versatility
of the
combat system.
At least Gears
of War tried new things, they changed
combat from the «run directly at you foe, strafing from left to right to «dodge» bullets»
gameplay, to something original.
For
gameplay it was great with alot
of variation to
combat.

Trying to make
combat and parkour more complex and compelling, Ubisoft Montreal overlooked some complications, and that's a shame, since it will show in every aspect
of the

gameplay of jumping and walking and using different sorts
of powers you oriented with the game that also include
of hand to hand

of modern naval

A lot
of the improvements come with ARID herself, with extra
combat and movement abilities making for much smoother
gameplay.
Players familiar with the Warriors series
of hack and slash titles will be able to feel the difference in
