For the ten years that I have been coming to SXSW, I have watched some great comedies like The Disaster Artist and Spy while
comedies like Sausage Party and Neighbors just didn't work for me.

WHY: «
Sausage Party» isn't a very subtle movie (the dialogue is laced with so much profanity that it feels
like it was written by a bunch of prepubescent boys who just learned about swear words), but what the
comedy lacks in maturity it makes up for with some clever commentary on faith, sexual temptation and the Palestine / Israel conflict.
While Hill has continued to work with his
comedy cohort on projects
like Sausage Party and This is the End, it was only a few years after becoming a household name that Hill looked for new avenues in his career.
If you
like comedy, it's a nice view into how the
sausage is made.
