drama, the undeniable sweetness of his face never telegraphing emotions too hard, as he brings nuance and charm to something as tone - deaf as
War Dogs (Todd Phillips, 2016); Will Ferrell brilliantly modulates the intensity of his delivery and generates fiercely hilarious one - liners to bless the otherwise unfunny Zoolander 2 (2016).
For all of its flaws, Lord of
War is certainly ambitious, and occasionally taps into certain ironies that almost make it nearly work as a satire (the machine gun chiming like a cash register with every bullet fired is memorable), but never carries the momentum long before the tone changes into a lazy
comedy, stagnant
drama, or mild farce.
Proving he has talents beyond the
comedy realm, Krasinski has appeared in the true - life
war drama 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Bengazhi in 2016, and most recently, director Kathryn Bigelow's historical crime
