plugged it into a turtle beach adapter on my controller, at this point it was feeding
game audio and chat audio through the headset and I managed to set the chat and
game audio levels perfectly obviously this is a chat headset and was designed simply for party chat audio in mind, I
plugged the headset into my Xbox controllers 3.5 mm port and tested out its functionality, I could hear the party just as clear as I would a more expensive gaming headset but obviously this time no
game chat was fed through, when asking how my microphone sounded to other members of the Xbox party it was noted that it sounded superior when
coming through the turtle beach adapter rather than straight into the controller but both were above acceptable especially for a chat headset.
The
game comes as two discs, so you
plug your USB drive in, boot up the Wii, and then select the disc channel
with DQX's first installation disc in to install to the hard drive.
Plugging directly into a high - definition TV using the included HDMI cable, the console
comes complete
with 30 NES
games built - in, including beloved classics like Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Donkey Kong, PAC - MAN and Kirby's Adventure.
Much like the NES Classic these systems
come bundled
with a selection of classic
games and
plug straight into your TV.
Hell, I'd even accept always - on requirements if it
came with a GUARANTEE to ALWAYS support
games released, so I don't need to worry what happens when you pull the
plug on old consoles, and if you GUARANTEED to unlock all DRM for old consoles before you do pull the
plug on them.
So the NES Classic Edition, a miniature replica of the system released in the US in 1985, that's also a
plug - and - play box
with 30 classic NES
games installed, probably sounds like a geek dream
come true.
Unsurprisingly, Nintendo has yet to confirm or deny the report, but Eurogamer claims that the mini SNES will
come pre-installed
with a selection of
games and have the same
plug - and - play setup as the mini NES.
The mouse also
comes with onboard memory — pretty useful if you are a
gamer who is always on the go because you can
plug it into any computer and it will still remember your settings.
The problem
with wireless charging is that it limits where you can charge you device... firstly it needs to be compatible, otherwise you have to buy an add - on case etc... But the worst thing about it is the limitation of place to charge — you have to have the plate / charging pad constantly
plugged in at one location, so this means you have to have several plates around the house... after all, if i have one in my bedroom (a sensible place to charge over night) but if i
come home and i've used my phone a lot, and been running, playing
games, and so i need to top it up because i have dinner date in a few hours — i then have to go upstairs and leave my in my bedroom while i am down stairs...
While this is meant to be used specifically
with the SHIELD devices, it's a fantastic controller and if
plugged in
with a USB cable that
comes with the device, it can also be used for gaming on the PC for compatible
games, which is a bonus.
They
come with a stack of classic
games pre-installed, which you can access through an all - new
games menu, and
plug into a TV via HDMI - even upscaling the pictures to a glorious 1080p.
