comics by selling the download codes on the black market.
But for avid fans of the story lines themselves, the greater emphasis in the last couple of years on bringing
comics to
readers in digital format has been well received, especially with
comic publishers
who are re-releasing their back list titles or making it a policy to release the digital edition the same day that the print editions arrive in stores.
Both comiXology and
Comics Plus carry Image
comics, but
readers who buy from those services can only read their
comics if they are logged in to an enabled device.
That's still not surprising to those
who aren't schooled in the ways of the
comic book market, because most fiction
readers are used to enjoying the ability to buy digital copies of bestselling fiction titles as soon as they are released, or at least very soon afterward.
Clearly, comiXology is dominated by
readers who like to get the latest
comics and don't mind paying full price for them.

Our thinking was that it may circulate more if its more accessible to our
comics readers,
who may pick it up out of interest, than as an instructive book in the 600s.

comics era is the ability for publishers to directly sell their back issues to
readers, especially those
who aren't interested in collecting the rare, physical
comics.
There are many lapsed
