I am always amazed at the venomous comments that are spewed by people in reaction to any blog post about God or prayer.

I've never left any comment here, though I've been following your blog since post 2 and about three quarters of the recipes I found here have grown to become ultimate favorites at home (actually all those I tested have been adopted right on the spot, and God knows the man of the house loves his meat and fat - filled meals, so I really can't thank you enough!!

sad but true, it is all extremely competitive (hence all the references to it in online situations in the comments above) and i try to absent myself from those kinds of situations / friendships / occasions whenever possible (including stepping away from certain blogs, especially those which debate the merits of washing the white stuff off washed organic carrots) btw to me your post came out as a long - drawn out whine apology about being judged as judging - one thing i learned in presenting my work was to never apologise for it, period.

I think as often is the case, people sometimes misrepresent themselves by using loaded words in their comments or blog posts when they respond to something that they're passionate about, but perhaps at the core, their issue is that they were really treated badly in an open adoption relationship and isn't that the crux of the matter after all?
