I think the range of
comments to this post reflect the policy differences of these various classes of reviewers.It seems fair, but I doubt it's ever the case that any of them refund reading fees.

One approach would be
to review how research papers are treated here at RC by both
post authors and by the commenters, perhaps with an eye

I indicated that many ABlawg authors had worked their blog
posts up into peer reviewed articles, which also allows afterthoughts and
comments about the position taken in an initial
post to be
reflected in the final product.
In other words, you may wish
to carefully think out the
comments you make on blog
posts if they don't
reflect who exactly you are.
Consider changing your privacy settings
to private — even if you don't say something inappropriate, a friend could
comment on your
post, and that could
reflect poorly on you as a candidate.
