Abbi — I don't know if there are any
hospitals in my city (Toronto, Canada) that still have a nursery
on the postpartum
ward, but rooming - in is certainly the most
common policy here, and although probably there are some mothers who would prefer a nursery, full rooming - in is accepted as the norm.
