During the months of June, July and August, our Miami - Dade County
Community Spay Neuter Clinic had a record number of dogs and cats receiving the low - cost
services, with more than 1,200 spay and neuter
surgeries performed.
Feral *, stray, and
community cats, as well as owned cats who live outdoors, qualify for the free
services which include
surgery, vaccinations, pain medications, and e-collars (for post-surgical recovery).
In addition, the fellow will have the opportunity to interact with clinicians in a variety of other
services, including dermatology, shelter medicine,
community practice, soft tissue
surgery, orthopedic
surgery, oncology, emergency / critical care, neurology, cardiology, ophthalmology, exotics and avian practice, nutrition, and diagnostic imaging.
PFL provides ongoing neighborhood outreach, plans
community - wide events, and offers free or very low cost
services, such as dog training, humane education, spay / neuter

The new facility does not stop DDR from providing spay / neuter

Made possible by a grant from Best Friends Animal Society, with Spay Neuter Project of Los Angeles (SNP LA), this special
service fund will aim to provide free spay and neuter
surgeries at SNP LA to Los Angeles pet owners residing in target zip codes, along with animal behavior tips, special pet owner offers and discounts, and information about how to «spay it forward» within their
communities.
The Feline Fix is able to offer quality affordable spay / neuter
surgeries and other
services for tame, stray, and feral cats due to the support of our donors, volunteers,
community partners, fundraising events, and grants.
Among these
communities, in the first quarter of this year alone, low income and homeless pet owners received 566
services, including free spay and neuter
surgeries, vaccinations, and medical assistance such as blood tests, X-rays and medication.
With Blue Paw Trust, volunteers will be involved in delivering veterinary
services, including spay / neuter
surgeries & rabies vaccinations in underserved
communities around Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka.

The Washington Humane Society's National Capital Area Spay and Neuter Center offers a CatNiPP
service package for
community cats: spay or neuter
surgery, FVRCP and rabies vaccinations, and an ear - tip.
We offer a variety of
services to our clients and
community such as preventive medicine, vaccinations, internal medicine, dermatology, laser therapy, cardiology,
surgery, digital radiography, dentistry, and in - house blood analysis.
Capital improvements (2008 - 2017) include adding a third
surgery room and equipment, new roof, insulation to the attic with HVAC improvements, office and kitchen and dog wet area remodeling, painting, signage enhancements, and fencing of the back yard to secure intake for animal groups.The SNVC was awarded a PetSmart © Charities grant in 2016 for specific categories of

Shelters are supposed to be the safety net for the neediest animals in a
community, and given the inherently uncertain and changing nature of life, there will always be a need for animal shelters in the same way there will always be a need for public
service agencies that care for orphaned abandoned or needy children, regardless of how many spay and neuter
surgeries are done in a
community.
We have programs that help the financially challenged people of our
community by providing free
services for vaccinations and spay / neuter
surgeries.
The San Francisco SPCA provides VET SOS with free spay / neuter
services for animals under six years of age, pet food, free short - term boarding after - spay / neuter
surgery, and no - interest payment arrangements for advanced or urgent - care, provided through its
community veterinary practice.
Position Summary: Support Best Friends Animal Society's mission and goals by providing quality high volume spay and neuter
surgeries, other general (minor)
surgeries, medical care, and vaccination
services for the general public, including Best Friends Animal Society's adoption and
community cat programs, and rescue and shelter partners.
For all other veterinary
services, including, but not limited to, booster vaccinations, treatment and prevention of heartworm disease, routine wellness care, radiology, hospitalization
services and emergencies not related to the spay or neuter
surgery performed by the SAFE Care Feline Spay / Neuter Clinic, please consult and establish a relationship with a veterinarian in your
community.
Because this program is through the SVM, this partnership not only provides a
service for the
community, but it also gives fourth year veterinary students a chance to perform spay, neuter, and other simple
surgeries (inguinal repairs, deciduous teeth removal, etc.) under the direct supervision of faculty veterinarians at the school.
