Though crossovers like this have popped up before, this is the first time DoA has ever featured a character from
a competing fighting franchise (though many will recall the Spartan named Nicole - 458 that appeared in DoA4).

Now, studio head Yousuke Hayashi has indicated Sega may be coughing up even more fighters from its
competing franchise for the
fighting sequel.
Novarama have done a good job with augmented reality but, for a fully priced game, have failed to create a compelling
fighting game that can even to hope to
compete with the multitude of finely tuned and incredibly polished
fighting franchises out there, many of which are coming to the Vita.
And though I could never hope to
compete with the
fighting game community back in my hometown in Street Fighter III, I still had a deep appreciation for everything it did (or tried to do) in pushing the
franchise forward.
