However, Breath
of the Wild moves into open world territory in near
complete ignorance
of the GTAIII open world template that fed into
Oblivion, Skyrim, and all the Assassin's Creed games.
Compared to this guild in ES: Skyrim and ES:
Oblivion it just feels a little hollow and soulless, maybe because
of the multiple other players running in while you are trying to
complete a contract, this can be quite off putting.
In other words, they aren't just rebuilding the lands
of Oblivion using a new engine, the goal is to have a
complete, functioning version
of the game running in Skyrim when all is said and done.

Oblivion (along with Wallin's Echo Park) was screened at the Art Video section I selected for Art Basel in Miami Beach 2012 and it was one
of the most memorable and
