The way
side -
quests are paced is quite brilliant, as rather than simply letting you
complete the whole mission in one go you'll find progress has to be halted while
other things happen in the main narrative thread.
According to game director Hajime Tabata, Final Fantasy XV map is very hard to compare to
other games as it will take over 100 of hours to
complete side quests along with the main missions.
While there are tasks that need to be handled, such as the two I just mentioned, there are also several
other side -
quests that can be
completed at your leisure.
Almost every corner of Chicago has
side missions that have Aiden pursuing would - be criminals, participating in street races, tracking down gang hideouts, finding missing women,
completing quests for hacker group Dedsec, and
other varied
quests that can keep you busy for hours on end.
If you just want to
complete the campaign, the games gives you more than enough time to
complete every story
quest, however, the same can't be said about
side - story missions with
other characters.
While we know that a lot of time and hard work has gone into developing this game, and when Game Director, Hajime Tabata, was asked how the game's map compares to
others, he responded that Final Fantasy XV map is very hard to compare to

Points are awarded for
completing principal objectives and
side quests with bonuses paid for swift times, mercy runs (no kills
other than designated targets), minimal alerts and the collection of Thief Tokens secreted in each level.
The recommended level is not the level I'd ever recommend and I strongly advise you find a decent grind spot, because accepting a main
quest prevents you from accepting any
others (same applies to official
side quests too i.e. affinity missions) and if you get caught in a mission you can't
complete, you might end up frustrated and giving up on this diamond in the rough.
The swinging feels worthless becuse web rush feels faster, the hero or menace system doesn't have a meaning to exist becuse if your a menace than your making the game harder then it needs to be so you will always be the hero but to reach hero you have to do
side missions that HAVE UNSKIPABLE CUTSCENES that show the same thing over and over and over with the same voice saying the same stuff everytime it gets tediuos doing the same stuff multiple times before reaching level 3 hero oh and I might I add the rank can fall randomly becuse you are not at 2 locations at the same time you can
complete one
side quest gain some points and then lose the amount for not doing the
other quest that is in the
other side of Manhattan.
Wildlands will let players take missions as they see fit and, when not
completing objectives, there will be plenty of
side quests and
other explosive activities to enjoy.

side missions were a bit of a mixed bag; whilst some would offer an enriched little narrative of their own that actually had you invested in what you were doing,
others were simply fetch
quests or basic assassinations with very little on offer to motivate you to
complete them.
