to his power».25 In reply, one might cite an article in which Peter Appleby concludes that the religious attitudes of trust, love, awe, gratitude and repentance presuppose a personal deity, but not a necessary or omnipotent being.26
Process theologians have held that it is God's goodness, not his power, which justifies reverence and worship, though presumably a totally impotent deity would evoke pity more than respect.
If you aren't truly motivated nor
committed to selling — if it just struck you one morning that you should move
