As I'm writing this, I'm blanking on what the 3rd mode is, but the 2nd mode (which you unlock by making it to like the 5th map in Arcade mode) is a sliding puzzle mode with
a completely different art style.

Despite having an
art style similar to the SteamWorld games, this is a
completely different take on the SteamWorld series with a focus on turn - based strategic battles offering a good amount of challenge with procedurally generated levels.
The cutscenes are fully rendered in 3D as is the gameplay itself, but then cutscenes during campaigns are done in 2D hand - drawn
art, while city screens are also in 2D and feature a
completely different style of artwork that paints each town in a classical, bright fantasy
style which doesn't match the rest of the game.

The visual
art style of Mutant Football League will be
completely different than Football Heroes (MFL will be much grittier).
It actually varies game to game as we have taken a
different approach to get each game in the collection represented the way you remember them, something like the original Xbox Grabbed by the Ghoulies we remastered
completely into 1080p and 60 fps as the games cartoon
art style worked well (cutscenes are still in 4:3 as the original), the Xbox 360 games are in their native resolutions and framerates as they are already HD, the older titles we made the call to put them in an arcade
style themed windowed mode to retain the authenticity, we also added a CRT filter that accurately reproduced the scan lines and pixel bleed screens gave back then which you can toggle on and off — We did whatever made the most sense to keep the quality high and the nostalgia present.
While the
art style is
completely different in Samurai II: Vengeance than it is in Shadowgun, going for a more anime -
style of
art, the game itself is hack n» slash at it's finest where you can break out combos against multiple enemies and even get some slow motion final killing blow action in there as well.
Either way, his
art is so
different, so mind - blowing — he's invented a
completely new
style of painting.
I love seeing a wall that is
completely covered with pictures or
art and
different frames... so eclectic... I think this can be used in any
style of home by matching the frames with the decor... Love love love this post!!
