complete such a feat was Man United in 1999.
And that «why» is easily answered with the feeling of accomplishment that comes with
completing such a feat.
Not exact matches
Every tackle is a body slam, every pass
completed a
feat of incredible athleticism, and momentum shifts in the game
such that one team always dominates whenever the story necessitates it.
While simple tasks
such as spinning a certain number of unique PokéStops or catching several Pokémon will yield useful items,
completing a tougher task
such as landing several Great Throws in a row should feel like a
feat of achievement that grants a greater reward or even the opportunity to encounter an elusive Pokémon.
Collecting these treasures, along with
completing certain
feats within the game, is tracked by the awarding of medals, which gives the player in - game money to use to unlock extra content on the disc, including concept art, game movies, and game cheats
such as guns with infinite ammunition.
Having torn through the main game and New Game Plus, I find myself now going back to try and collect all of the Song Scrolls and
complete some of the more difficult
feats,
such as «Finish the game in 1 hour and 30 minutes».
To be fair Rockstar do recommend that
such feats should be embarked upon with a group of friends
complete with voice communication but you can't help but feel a more robust system would allow for a random group to successfully
complete some if not all the heists on offer.
It's a plain, simple and easy to parse system, and a quite remarkable
feat of development to have it all up and running so seamlessly in
such a short time, but it also serves as a reminder of how truly awful Battlefront 2's progression system was beforehand; not only was it deeply cynical, but it was also an absolute mess that held the player in
complete disregard, putting them at the mercy of random drops.
