While NGOs have developed more
comprehensive sexuality education curricula, these are mainly used in extracurricular activities in schools in a few districts, may vary in quality and are not implemented uniformly in each school, leading to a disjointed program overall.
The Sexuality Information and Education Council of the United States (SIECUS) Guidelines
