Child safety seat checks are coordinated
by the New York State Governor's Traffic Safety Committee in cooperation with state and
local law enforcement and community safety partners year round, either
by appointment or at events

conducted by officers of the shelter or
local law enforcement, depending on the jurisdiction.

Task forces of federal, state and
local law enforcement agencies
