A statement from Army headquarters signed by Col. Sani Usman detailing the operation in Damboa - Bale axis said, «Troops of 254 Task Force Battalion; 25 Task Force Brigade, in conjunction with Vigilantes have
conducted clearance operation of remnants of Boko Haram terrorists at Gwashari village along Damboa - Bale road.
«The troops also
conducted a clearance operation in Kuduru, Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State in which they arrested 5 cattle rustlers, recovered arms and ammunitions and then destroyed the armed bandit's camps.
«Our troops in conjunction with the vigilante groups successfully
conducted clearance operations in villages and Boko Haram camps which led to the recovery of weapons and communication equipment as well as apprehension of many suspects.
Meanwhile, troops
