Mazda has attempted to combat the phenomenon by using a torque - sensing
conical limited - slip differential and equal - length half shafts in the drivetrain construction, but it still had to resort to using what it calls the Mazda Advanced Torque Management System to keep the «Speed3 in line by limiting maximum torque in first and second gears.

conical limited slip differential for improved handling.
