Aguero would never come to arsenal even if city agreed what world class player would ever even
consider coming to club that is in crisis from top to bottom we will only be able to sign average players hence John evans interest that's about as good as it's going to get be prepared for many years of doom and gloom!!

Bellerin on the other hand would become another potential problem at a later stage because he is already on 100k / w and he is also still only just 22 of age, but at least the positive in this is that not many
clubs would easily
come to pry him away from us when they
consider the wage he is on.
Therefore, when
consider this approach, it is difficult
to blame both Ozil and Sanchez though the first loyalty should
come to the
club.
Tony Pulis continues
to do a great job at Stoke and it shows just how far the Potters have
come that lying in 11th place could be
considered a position they could well improve on and they seem
to be a side who no longer has
to worry about relegation tussles and a move for David James shows that the
club continues
to move in the right direction.
Everyone ex football player would want
to manage a

comes with it.
McNair was highly thought of at Old Trafford and so it may
come as a disappointment for many
to see him leave the
club, while Love was also
considered a top prospect and will naturally be frustrated that he wasn't able
to make his mark in Manchester.
In turn, it's forced Jose Mourinho and the
club to consider their options, and as per the report, they've
come up with two alternatives that they believe will help push United on next season.
Of course it would be silly
to suggest that winning any game, cup or otherwise, isn't good for the
club, but let's remember just how problematic FA Cup success has been for this
club... I'm certainly not going
to suggest I didn't enjoy seeing Arsenal win, I'm a fan of this
club first and foremost, but how bad are things when you find yourself secretly wishing that your own team lost so that just maybe real change would finally
come... I resent this team for even making me feel such thoughts and it's going
to take a lot of effort on their part
to earn my trust again... this
club has treated the fans so poorly that it has created an incredibly fragile and toxic environment, so much so that a «what have you done for me lately» mentality has emerged... fans rise and fall depending on the results of each game because we don't have faith in those in charge
to make the necessary changes
to personnel and tactics... each time we win many fans attack any dissenting voices and make unrealistic claims about the players, the manager and the potential for unprecedented success... every time we lose the boo - birds run rampant, calling for heads
to roll and predicting the worst... regardless of what side you fall on, it's not your fault, both sides are simply overcompensating for the horrible state of affairs that have been percolating for several years... it's hard
to take the long view when those in charge have lied incessantly and refuse
to take any responsibilities for their own actions... in the end, we are trapped by the same catch - 22 that ManU faced upon Fergie's exit... less fearful of maintaining the status quo than facing the unknown, which was validated, wrongly or rightly, by witnessing the difficulties they have faced during this transitory period...
to be honest, the thing that scares me most is that this team has never prepared whatsoever for this eventuality, which
considering our frugal nature and the way we have shunned many of our most revered former players is more than a little disconcerting
If you add mourinho, I think Mourinho will be smart enough
to know it's a big a gamble
to come into the league at this time, esp when you
consider Pep and Conte at the Mega buck
clubs.
With a new manager and a host of new players set
to come in, Aguero is ready
to consider his future at the

Nevertheless, a move
to the Premier League will be tempting for any player, and if the reports are
to be believed, then he has a choice of three of the top
clubs in England
to consider in the
coming months.
All predictable comments after arsenal defeat of course it's natural and calls
to get this player or that one have you
considered If the players want
to come to arsenal, take drawer for instance if you were him would you
come to arsenal knowing the
club have suspect defence, loose games they should win or at worst get a draw, or a manager who hasn't the balls
to drop the likes of ozil who passes sideways all the time, it's ok
to want
to sign these players but do they want
to come
In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all of them have never shown any consistency for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has never played better, which isn't saying much
considering his largely underwhelming play in previous seasons, seems
to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured player
to handle the taxing duties that
come with said position over the long haul, not
to mention, it looks like he has no intention of staying... Ramsey has relied on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years back when he finally seemed
to put in altogether, but on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox have scored enough
to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put on a weekly contract then played until he suffers his first injury, if and when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed
to say his name on
club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average players who couldn't make any of the top 7 teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no good team can afford
to have that many average players on their bench playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies... as for Xhaka, his tenure here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills
to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related
to the failure of this
club to provide him with the necessary players up front, minus Sanchez of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)
What an article, why would any world class player in his right mind wouldn't
consider coming to Arsenal especially when you are guaranteed (a) not
to win any top tier trophies (b)
to be paid less than at a
club where you would win top tier trophies (c) your career would be at the mercy of the tactical ineptitude of Arsene the dope.
The deadwood???... as if they bought themselves and gave themselves chances on the pitch
to proof how deadwood they are... interestingly arsenal is i can say the only top 10
club in Europe that has been having until maybe last season, more than half of the squad as deadwood players and then one if most two players that may be
considered WC and the rest average... now i had my hopes up when we bought sanchez last season but arrrrkh, pee peee here
comes welbeck (man utd's deadwood)..
I like
to think of myself as a fairly rational individual, which is why what has and is going on at Arsenal confounds me... little wonder people have gone so far as
to suggest that Wenger is actually sabotaging the
club... one only needs
to look at our starting 11
to stoke the flames of conspiracy... just think of the perceived importance of this game,
considering the loss
to Stoke, the historically significance of the two teams involved, the controversy that swirled around our two meetings last season, the proximity
to the closing of the window and the general disdain being directed towards the manager once again... how is it even possible that you wouldn't
come to Anfield with all guns blazing... not a single shot on target, with the back - up keeper in no less... where were the new signings?
Up front we have a few world - class players surrounded by some serious pretenders... Sanchez is by far the most accomplished player in our attack but the controversy surrounding his contractual mishandling could see him go before the window closes or most definitely by season's end... obviously a mistake by both parties involved, as Sanchez's exploits have never been more on display than in North London, but the
club's irresponsible wage structure and lack of real intent have been the real undoing in this mess... Lacazette, who I think has some world - class skills as a front man, will only be as good as the players and system around him, which is troubling due
to our current roster and Wenger's love of sideways passing... Walcott should have been sold years ago, enough said, and Welbeck should never have been brought in from the get - go... both of these players have suffered numerous injuries over their respective careers and neither are good enough
to overcome such difficulties: not
to mention, they both are below average first - touch players, which should be the baseline test for any player
coming to a Wenger - led Arsenal team... Perez should have been played wide left or never purchased at all; what a huge waste of time and money, which is ridiculous
considering our penny pinching ways and the fact that fans had been clamoring for a real striker for years... finally Giroud, the fact that he stills wears the jersey is a direct indictment of this
club's failure
to get things right... this isn't necessarily an attack on Giroud because I think he has some highly valued skills, but not for a team that has struggled
to take their sideways soccer
to the next level, as his presence slows their game even more, combined with our average, at best, finishing skills... far too often those in charge have either settled or chosen half - measures and ultimately it is us that suffer because no matter what happens Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke will always make more money whereas we will always be the ones paying for their mistakes... so every time someone suggests we should just shut - up and support the team just think of all the sacrifices you've made along the way and simply reply... f *** off
Our player of the season so far?Certainly the most consistent.JACK AND OZIL CONTRACTS - just get them signed up for F *** S SAKE.Jack doesn't want
to go anywhere and Ozil will have his choice of big
clubs to choose from if allowed

to the point of being ridiculous)
to SIGN the best and KEEP the best» These two are the best we have so get them sorted early
to send out a message of how serious we intend
to be.AUBAMEYANG - So what if he has a contract. So did Sanchez.Offer the right money
to Dortmund and the player and he will be ours. What is there
to question over this deal?He is a proven goalscorer. We have just lost one.Get the deal done.GIROUD - Get rid of him
to Dortmund if they want him either by selling or if it sweetens the deal just loan him till the end of the season. He was a back up when Sanchez was here and will be on the mix of back ups if Auba signs. He has a World Cup squad
to fight for just
to be
considered so needs
to be playing every week.We do not need him if Auba signs and would demand better than him if the deal fails
to happen.Just get rid.JONNY EVANS - I'm not sure.Agree Kos needs nursing through games and we do not have consistent performers
to come in if he is injured or rested mainly due
to both Chambers and Holdimg not progressing through as much as we first thought and hoped for.Gooners have always been patient and supportive of the youngsters as they have
come through but question marks
to the whole coaching staff as
to why these two seem
to have stalled as much as they have done.Steve Bould - What do you do?You should be ashamed.
Today it has been revealed that the German international, who has retired from international duty
to focus on his
club career, may
consider leaving Arsenal in January if the right offer
comes in.
Meanwhile real live potentials who we could use and who are still (for a wonder interested in
coming to the
club) are ignored and passed up and generally let go, along with the players that are being loaned out due
to their perceived lack of use
to us, (Podolski and potentially Sanogo), though why the latter was ever
considered a potential is beyond anyone with half a brain.
Jenkinson recognises that he's unlikely
to get too much game time at Arsenal and so as much as it would hurt him emotionally
to leave his boyhood
club, it is something he's likely
to consider come the summer.
His
club are said
to be unwilling
to consider their star - striker's exit in the
coming window, but are also said
to be open
to a big money sale
come the end of the season.
Premier League
clubs may have a decision
to make
come the summer with the news that Real Madrid are «seriously
considering» sacking Champions League winning manager Carlo Ancelotti this summer, according
to Spanish football expert Guillem Balague.
Donnarumma would seemingly be the most difficult of all three
to prise away, as the 17 - year - old has established himself as the top choice between the posts at Milan and is
considered a pillar of their future and one of the young faces of the
club for years
to come.
If he
came to Arsenal, I'd seriously
consider that after 47 years I'd need
to find another
club to support.
Considering we had four games remaining, needed
to secure 9 pts minimum
to qualify and two of those games were against BAYERN MUNICH, an undisputed top - 3
club in the world, I dare say you were already talking of Europa League... So please don't try
to come across as any form of high - standards fan when you bash the team constantly, you can't have it both ways.
Both players in question were linked with moves away from the
club in the previous transfer window, with both currently looking at possible free transfers
come the end of the season, and you would expect both
to fight
to play especially
considering the World Cup will take place next summer.
This is the kind of article that highlights exactly what is wrong with this
club as a whole... so the question you're asking is what option would be less shitty... after the firestorm surrounding Wenger's contract last season, which somehow led
to his highly questionable re-upping for 2 more years, things needed
to dramatically change or the inevitable same old, same old was bound
to occur... as of right now the bare minimum has occurred... we knew about Sead long before Wenger's renewal so that can't be
considered a part of the «new world order»... so the only real changes are Lehman
coming into the coaching staff, which could be positive but he's always been a Wenger lackey so the jury is still out, and the acquisition of Lacazette, who I really like as a player but I question the reasoning behind his signing
Are you really naive enough
to believe that Wenger would bring anyone into this current locker room that is going
to be given a strong voice... have you not been watching, listening or reading about our
club for years... Lehman is a blind Wenger follower, which is the only reason he was even
considered... just for a second think of all the strong personalities that have played for this
club that have never been seriously
considered even though they have expressed legitimate interest in participating in the coaching process... even worse, think of all the former greats who aren't even allowed on the same pitch as Wenger because they have offered their advice and / or criticism
to the infallible one... I dare you
to find a manager that has distanced himself from his former players as much as this man... it's the very reason why only one player I can think of has ever returned
to play for Wenger and that was Flamini, which was hilarious
considering we were desperately looking for a top quality defensive midfielder but Wenger could somehow find no one better than Flamini in the whole wide world... let's face it this
club was simply trying
to appease it's disgruntled fans by declaring that Wenger would no longer be given Ca rte Blanche when it
came to the backroom staff so they probably asked him
to give them a list of those who he would allow in the locker room... on that list he wrote Lehman, Pires and Bergkamp, likely because the first two are the only former players who haven't publicly questioned his horrible decision - making and the last one because he won't get in an airplane
Nothing like one underachiever blowing smoke up the ass of another... we know that Ozil has some incredible technical gifts, but
to be
considered the best you have
to bring more than just assists
to the table... for me, a top player has
to possess a more well - rounded game, which doesn't mean they need
to be a beast on both ends of the pitch, but they must have the ability
to take their game
to another level when it matters most... although he amassed some record - like stats early on, it set the bar too high, so when people expected him
to duplicate those numbers each year the pressure seemed
to get the best of our soft - spoken star... obviously that's not an excuse for what has happened in the meantime, but it's important
to make note of a few things: (1) his best year was a transition year for many of the traditionally dominant teams in the EPL, so that clearly made the numbers appear better than they actually were and (2) Wenger's system, or lack thereof, didn't do him any favours; by playing him out of position and by not acquiring world - class striker and / or right - side forward that would best fit an Ozil - centered offensive scheme certainly hurt his chances
to repeat his earlier peformances, (3) the loss of Cazorla, who took a lot of pressure off Ozil in the midfield and was highly efficient when it
came to getting him the ball in space, negatively impacted his effectiveness and (4) he likewise missed a good chunk of games and frankly never looked himself when he eventually returned
to the field... overall the Ozil experiment has had mixed reviews and rightfully so, but I do have some empathy for the man because he has always carried himself the same way, whether for Real or the German National team, yet he has only suffered any lengthy down periods with Arsenal...
to me that goes directly
to this
club's inability
to surround him with the necessary players
to succeed, especially for someone who is a pass first type of player; as such, this simply highlights our
club's ineffective and antiquated transfer policies... frankly I'm disappointed in both Ozil and our management team for not stepping up when it counted because they had a chance
to do something special, but they didn't have it in them... there is no one that better exemplifies our recent history than Ozil, brief moments of greatness undercut by long periods of disappointing play, only made worse by his mopey posturing like a younger slightly less awkward Wenger... what a terribly waste
In order for the Lacazette experiment
to succeed several things need
to occur, many of which will require Wenger
to act in a very unlike Wenger fashion... firstly, Wenger has
to commit
to Lacazette as the number 1 striking option, which could prove difficult
considering the way in which he has approached that position since RVP's departure... remember that Lacazette has only been here for a cup of coffee and yet he has already played out on the left... I'm truly worried that upon further reflection the
club won't be able
to resist an increased offer, under the guise that the work environment is increasingly untenable, and Sanchez will find himself elsewhere
come September (I pray not though); if that were
to happen I fear that Lacazette will be played along side Giroud
Top player but his injuries might be a big issue
considering he wants
to join a
club like ours were injuries are as certain as the sun
coming up.
players like Ozil always present the fans with a bit of a conundrum, especially when times are tough... if you look around the sporting world every once in awhile there emerges a player with incredible skill, like Ozil, Matt Sundin or even Jay Cutler, who have a different way about themselves... their movement seemed almost too lackadaisical, so much so that it seemed
to suggest indifference or even disinterest on the part of the player... their posture always appears somewhat mopey and they generally have an unflattering «sour puss» expression on their face... for some their above average skills are enough
to keep them squarely in the mix, as their respective teams try desperately
to find a way
to get the best out of them visa vie player acquisitions or the reworking of tactics... when things go according
to planned the fans usually find a way
to accept their unique disposition, whereas when things go awry they become easy targets for fans and pundits alike... in the case of Ozil and Sundin, their successes on the international stage and / or with their former teams led many
to conclude that if we surrounded such talented individuals with players that have those skills that would most likely bring the best of these players success would surely follow... unfortunately both the Maple Leafs and our
club chose
to adopt half - measures, as each were being run by corporations who valued profitability over providing the best possible product on the field... for them, they cared more about shirt sales and season tickets than doing whatever was necessary... this isn't, by any stretch, an attempt
to absolve Ozil of any responsibility for his failures on the pitch... there is no doubt oftentimes his efforts were underwhelming,
to say the least, but this
club has been inept when it
comes to providing this prolific passer with the kind of players necessary for him
to flourish... with our poor man's version of Benzema up front, the headless chickens in Walcott, the younger Ox and Welbeck occupying wide positions far too often and the fact that Carzola, who provided Ozil with great service and more freedom
to roam, was never truly replaced, the only real skilled outlet on the pitch was Sanchez... remember
to be
considered a world - class set - up man goals need
to be scored and for much of his time here he has been surrounded by some incredibly inept finishers... in the end, I'm not sure how long he will be in North London, recent sentiments and his present contract situation seem
to suggest that he will depart at season's end, but how tragic would it be if once again we didn't put our best foot forward and failed
to make those moves that could have brought championship football back
to our once beloved
club... so when you think about this uniquely skilled player don't be so quick
to shift all the blame on his shoulders because he will not be the first or the last highly skilled player
to find disappointment at the Emirates if we don't rid the
club of those individuals that are truly
to blame for our current woes
this article typifies everything that is wrong with our
club... if you had any balls you would have started with that Mertz nonsense, but instead, like Wenger, you started out pretending
to be a rational individual only
to reveal your true unintelligible in the final paragraph... I feel like you have never watched Mertz play except for in the FA Cup final last year... how does someone help defend corners, crosses and the like when you can't man - mark, you have a negative vertical and you close your eyes whenever the ball
comes in your direction... this was a panic buy that didn't make sense then,
considering how most teams were setup
to counterattack us, and it makes even less sense now... he was well past his prime when he arrived, like Podolski, Arteta, Flamini 2.0 among numerous others, and was used by Wenger
to trick the uninformed fans into believing he cared about turning this team into a true contender
What will surely anger the heads of English football most is that such an idea could be discussed without any form of communication between the two bodies, and following the Premier League's blunt refusal
to admit the Old Firm
clubs to the top flight in 2009 it seems unlikely that a competition such as the one being
considered will ever
come to be.
Picture this, we don't
come out of the gate firing on all cylinders, Wenger speaks of how there wasn't enough time for the first - teamers
to build chemistry, several key players aren't even playing because of Wenger's utterly ridiculous policy regarding players who played in the Confed Cup or the under21s and the boo - birds have returned in full flight... if these things were
to happen, which is quite possible
considering the Groundhog Day mentality of this
club, how long do you think it will take for Wenger
to recant his earlier statements regarding Europa... I would suggest that it's these sorts of comments from Wenger which are often his undoing... why would any manager worth his weight in salt make such a definitive statement before the season has even started... why would any manager who fashions himself an educated man make such pronouncements before even knowing what his starting 11 will be
come Friday, let alone on September 1st... why would any manager who has a tenuous relationship with a great many supporters offer up such a potentially contentious talking point
considering how many times his own words have
come back
to bite him in the ass... I think he does this because he doesn't care what you or I think, in fact he's more than slightly infuriated by the very idea of having
to answer
to the likes of you and me... that might have been acceptable during his formative years in charge, when the fans were rewarded with an scintillating brand of football and success felt like a forgone conclusion, but this new Wenger led team barely resembles that team of ore... whereas in times past we relished a few words from our seemingly cerebral manager, in recent times those words have been replaced by a myriad of excuses, a plethora of infuriating stories about who he could have signed but didn't and what can only be construed as outright fabrications... it's kind of funny that when we want some answers, like during the whole contract debacle of last season, we can't get an intelligent word out of him, but when we just what him
to show his managerial acumen through his actions, we can't seem
to get him
to shut - up... I beg you
to prove me wrong Arsene
I will say he should be sold out of the premier league and if Alexis even loves Arsenal in any ways or respect the fans, he won't even
consider playing for any other rival
club... I have not seen Arsenal show the ambition we are showing in this transfer window in a very long time and if i as a fan can be convinced with few more signing
to come in i don't know why $ anchez can't be, he should just get the EFF out our
club and lives if he's not willing
to stay and i hope he wins the champions league with city... was he not even one of the players who didn't push us
to the champions league?
Wilshere, who has
come through the Arsenal academy
to make 160 first team appearances for the Gunners, only has one year left on his current deal with the
club, and is reportedly
considering his options, according
to the Mirror.
Or
consider the number of ex-players (Henry and Pires are probably the most visible ones, but even Flamini qualifies) who still love
to come back
to the
club to train or pass on their knowledge.
Although it will be incredibly difficult
to ever match his contributions on the pitch, it's vitally important for a former
club legend, like Henry,
to publicly address his concerns regarding the direction of this
club... regardless of those who still feel that Henry has some sort of agenda due
to the backlash he received following earlier comments he made on air regarding Arsenal, he has an intimate understanding of the game, he knows the fans are being hosed and he feels some sense of obligation, both professionally and personally,
to tell it like he sees it... much like I've continually expressed over the last couple months, this team isn't evolving under this current ownership / management team... instead we are currently experiencing a «stagnant» phase in our
club's storied history... a fact that can't be hidden by simply changing the formation or bringing in one or two individuals... this team needs fundamental change in the way it conducts business both on and off the pitch or it will continue
to slowly devolve into a second tier
club... regardless of the euphoria surrounding our escape act on Friday evening, as it stands, this
club is more likely
to be fighting for a Europa League spot for the foreseeable future than a top 4 finish... we can't hope for the failures of others
to secure our place in the top 4, we need
to be the manufacturers of our own success by doing whatever is necessary
to evolve as an organization... if Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke can't take the necessary steps following the debacle they manufactured last season, their removal is imperative for our future success... unfortunately, I strongly believe that either they don't know how
to proceed in the present economic climate or they are unwilling
to do whatever it takes
to turn this ship around... just look at the current state of our squad, none of our world class players are under contract beyond this season, we have a ridiculous wage bill
considering the results, we can't sell our deadwood because we've mismanaged our personnel decisions and contractual obligations, we haven't properly cultivated our younger talent and we might have become one of the worst
clubs ever when it
comes to way we handle our transfer business, which under Dein was one of our greatest assets... it's time
to get things right!!!
We all know that we are
considered as a fragile
club when it
comes to toughness of our squad.
The Eagles boss» words won't exactly inspire confidence in the
club's fans, as he says he can not make any guarantees as the
club would likely have
to consider any offers that do
come in.
Although this reaction could be perceived as rather harsh,
considering the psychological trappings that oftentimes
comes with
club allegiance, the supporters must take some responsibility for a
club's stagnation if they have continually failed
to make the
club accountable for their poor decision - making both on the pitch and in the boardroom.
The major point
to consider is this - we need QUALITY players
to replace those leaving.Wenger like the rest of us knew Sanchez wanted out before the season started and would wait until the January window before finally getting his wish. You would hope we haven't spent the last 4 months hoping he would have a change of heart and stay.So Wenger should have used this time
to plan and prepare for who is
coming in.Draxler is an obvious name for the left side and it seems Malcom for the right
to replace Wally Walcott.Lets get players in NOW who want
to play for this
club and let's start rebuilding NOW.Obvious
to all of us but who knows what goes through Wengers mind.
In an update on the speculation, according
to the Independent [via the Daily Star], last season's Ligue 1 top goalscorer has his heart set on an exit in the
coming weeks, and is
considering handing in a transfer request
to force a move away after growing frustrated with Les Gones» reluctance
to listen
to offers — despite suggestions that the
club were willing
to sell.
As much as Bale may like Spurs as a
club, he is extremely unlikely
to take a huge pay cut
to come back,
considering the offers he is likely
to have on his plate and the fact that aged 28, his next contract is likely
to be his last major deal.
Marseille is also
considering a move for the custodian and while the French
club is not at par in terms of footballing brands
to the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City, they will also be able
to provide regular European exposure and the ability
to go up against the best and up - and -
coming talents of the world.
(Which makes sense
considering he is technically still under contract with the
club that continues
to have a revolving door when it
comes to their manager.
That Newcastle
came so close
to winning the Premier League title is all the more remarkable when you
consider that it was only our third campaign at that level, and that promotion
to the Premier League was won at a canter just 12 months after being a David Kelly goal away from relegation
to the third tier for the first time in the
club's history.
At the end of the day — or season — it might
come down
to wages but
considering how rich both
clubs are, it's difficult
to predict where he will end up.
