consider other openings just to get in — then don't waste resume space by including an Objective.
If the employer has several
open positions and your resume does not have a
job objective, then you are taking a chance that you will be
considered for a
job other than the one you intended... or not
considered at all.
Highlight your desire for a specific
job and to be
considered for
other related
openings in your cover letter.
If you are comfortable with your decision,
others will be comfortable recommending you and
considering you for
job openings.
Think of the possibilities of honing and gaining new skills, being
considered for future
openings, and being recommended to
other companies, plus adding excellent references to your
job - hunting arsenal.
