Population size has a
huge bearing on the amount of
resources consumed, as well as the amount of byproducts (ie: carbon, waste, etc) emitted.
Instead, to the limit of our
resources, we tend to follow the horrible example of Al Gore, who lives in a
huge house and flies around in a private jet that
consumes as much fossil fuel as 20 SUVs.
However, it doesn't seem that climate research is already
consuming huge amounts of
resources, so I wonder whether the
resources are not increasing as one would expect, or whether this is just not being discussed in public, or whether I just missed it due to the specific limited reading I do.
