more of it, at higher average prices

other consumers.
When borrowing is cheap, firms will take on
more debt to invest in hiring and expansion;
consumers will make larger, long - term purchases with cheap credit; and savers will have
more incentive to invest their
money in stocks or
other assets, rather
than earn very little — and perhaps lose
money in real terms — through savings accounts.
Consumers will spend
more money from now until Christmas
than any
other time of the year.
The sector also has a good reputation, with nearly 80 % of
consumers believing self - published ebooks are «as well - written as
other [traditionally published] ebooks,» and interestingly,
more than 80 % believing that «new authors will make
more money» by choosing this route.

Obviously some will be
more urgent
than others — for example, building an emergency fund, setting aside
money for a family vacation, paying off
consumer debt, or planning for retirement.
So if you happen to not be one of those who is able to negotiate a higher salary, or have parents or a spouse who is happy to support you, or have loads of savings or a pile of
money that someone has bequeathed to you, and your debts are
more than your yearly salary, and you have access to sufficient credit to cover all or a significant chunk of your student loans (and any
other consumer debt), then bankruptcy after flipping the debt might be a good option for you.
No doubt,
consumers can be expected to spend
more money during the Christmas season
than during any
other holiday of the year.
If
consumers decide to spend their
money more on one
than the
other, it will get
more attention, but I think
consumers are happy.
Finding gas prices at the pump to be around $ 3 or less a gallon also gives
consumers more money to spend on something
other than filling the gas tank each week.
