While fresh green and fruit salads are no longer allowed to
contain added sulfites, all grapes contain some naturally occurring sulfites.
Dried Fruits often
contain added sulfites which may bother certain individuals immune system.
Every wine they make is grown with organic practices and doesn't
contain added sulfites or other ingredients that are commonly used (like sawdust and food coloring, ewww!)
Not exact matches
Infant juices do not
contain sulfites or
added sugars and — although more expensive — are safer for baby than juices intended for adults.
As a proud bearer of the Whole30 ® Approved label, our products
contain no
added sugar, real or artificial, alcohol, grains, legumes, dairy or additives, such as MSG or
sulfites.
However, I chose to leave it out of the basic recipe because, one, not everyone wants / likes the taste of Dijon in their mayo, and secondly, I find that getting your hands on a Dijon mustard that is Whole30 compliant is kind of hard, at least in this part of the world... Most
contain either white wine or
added sulfites, which are 2 ingredients that are to be avoided during a Whole30... so when in doubt, just leave it out!
Organic wines
contain fewer
sulfites than conventional, but the distinction in labeling is important: U.S. labeled organic wine must
contain less than 10 ppm
added sulfites — and wine labeled «made with organic grapes» needs to have 100 ppm or less
sulfites.
