There are books of fiction which, by definition, are not literally true but which
contain truths about life.
Centuries before the Karen people of Burma first heard the gospel, their poetry taught of one creator God who mankind had sinned against by eating forbidden fruit.Their poets also foretold the coming of a white man who would visit with a holy golden book that
contained the truth about life.

But when we understand that the gospel
contains both
truths,
about how to receive eternal
life and properly
live this
life, then we can stop arguing
about the role of faith and works in the gospel and see that both have their proper place with proper results.

contains truths about how a person can go to heaven when they die, but also
about how a follower of Jesus can
live here on earth.

life, a single Christian can have all four types of soil in their
life at one time!
The gospel is way more than just a set of Bible facts; it also

live in light of those Bible facts.
Since the gospel

live life in light of the incarnation and resurrection of Jesus, «gospelizing» is not only done with words, but with actions as well.

life here on earth.
