Not exact matches
At most, the teacher «teaches» only indirectly by providing a
context in which the
learner may come to that combined self - knowledge and God - knowledge that is a «personal appropriation»
of revealed wisdom.

context of the training content, your delivery method may vary.

«Less content, more
context» is becoming the mantra
of designers who are creating situations
learners can instantly relate to.
Content and insight provided by SMEs, in the hands

How do you know that the learning programs you put together work with your

If we want to boost students» self - esteem, the best way to do this is for every student to be recognised as a
learner and a person, and for every student to receive balanced feedback to enable them to achieve in the
context of quality teaching and effective schooling.
A
learner should be able to: • understand and use whole numbers in practical
contexts • add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers using a range
of strategies • add and subtract decimals up to two decimal places • solve problems requiring calculation, with common measures, including money, time, and length, • convert units
of measure in the same system • extract and interpret information from tables, diagrams, charts and graphs find mean and range work out areas and perimeters in practical situations collect and record discrete data
By understanding the habits and needs
of the modern
learner, L&D teams can focus their efforts on creating a learning platform that delivers
context - rich digital resources to address what your employees are searching for online, but in a way that's relevant to your organization and «how things are done here».
Conversely, the notion that adults always want self - directed educational experiences may not hold up in situations in which the adult
learner lacks
context, self - awareness
of blind spots, and particularly, the skills to self - educate.
The more you get your
learners thinking about the training content in a variety
of different
contexts, the more information they'll embed in their long - term memory.
We can create immensely detailed artificial
contexts in which to immerse the
learner (for example, using virtual reality); or we can leave it to
learners to create their own
context and relevance for a piece
of information — a truly constructivist experience!
An eLearning module might serve as the initial container
of these resources - providing
context, motivation, and a demonstration
of how they might be used via an engaging scenario - then, like cracking an egg, the module is disposed
of and the assets become part
of the
learner's ongoing toolkit.
