continue your care with postpartum
support.
Doulas take an in person training course and learn the above things then go on to
continue their education through a certification process BUT they a fully equipped to
support a birthing woman prenatally and during birth right after their training course is complete!
My love and passion for my
doula work
continued to grow as I went through the transition to new parenthood myself and realized how much having
support and community truly meant.
A postpartum
doula continues that valuable emotional
support and guidance, helping a family make a smooth transition into new family dynamics.
PALS certifies
doulas in the Puget Sound region, provides
continuing education and socialization opportunities for our members, and strives to educate local birth providers about the benefits of
doula support.
