Earlier today, Bandai - Namco uploaded a few
videos for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for Nintendo Switch, with some
gameplay footage and several
videos showcasing the special moves you can launch using motion
controls:
Without going into spoilers for those who haven't experienced the story, thinking back on the film and when a
video game version of that should give the player
control, or how a scene in the film could be converted into a
gameplay section is nailed to a tee.
One of the new
gameplay videos shows Kirby using his «Big Bang» power to solve puzzles and fight enemies, along with other new
gameplay elements, like how motion
controls will feature into the game.
Fast forward to 2016 and players are given the option of competing in events such as swimming and soccer but in classic
video game fashion, the
gameplay has been spiced up in «Plus» events to make it even more enjoyable and more importantly, the
controls work quite well on the 3DS console that include the buttons, touch screen and even gyro capabilities (for archery) as you make your way through a plethora of events like swimming, golf, hurdles and even rhythmic gymnastics.
Much like the prior
video, there's a fair amount of
gameplay featuring Funky Kong to give you a better idea as to how he might play and
control.
The
video above really shows nothing but the straight up
gameplay aspect of the game, paying special attention to the powerups which allow us to «
control beautiful chaos.»
But the real kicker is that seemingly almost everyone who did not receive and accept a contract offer was hit with a copyright claim upon uploading any
gameplay footage of Shadow of Mordor, thus ensuring that the only
videos available, aside from reviews, were strictly
controlled and painted the game in a positive light.

Had I been able to go hands - on with the game, there would be a far more concrete assertion of the fighting engine and
control scheme but as it is, this is a preview in the sense of congregating all the information regarding the game and this is what
gameplay videos and developers have said regarding it.

Screenshots and
videos of CosmicBreak are a bit deceptive, as while the game mechanics look very much «MMO» in nature where tweaked stats triumph over good
gameplay and the player merely targets an enemy to attack, the
controls are very similar to most mecha games, albeit a tad simplified, and rather than equipment being the deciding factor, it's the pilot that makes the real difference.
Speaking of Vanquish, there's a
gameplay video from the E3 floor which shows the protagonist hopping on and
controlling what reminds me of the Regult battle pod from Macross.

Controls Gameplay
The Game bar includes icons for quickly opening the Xbox app,
controlling background recording, taking a screenshot, recording a
gameplay video, and accessing settings.

control the default length for shared
