I'm interested to see survey respondents» thoughts
about more
education issues (while the presentation did not present the full data set, a paper is available online), and I'm glad to hear that there are organizations thinking
about next steps and how to have
conversations that increase public support for equity.
We engage with our colleagues — at the NEA, the AFT, TURN, and with public
education advocates nationally — through web - based and real dialogue, conferencing, and seminars; publishing opinion pieces and other print materials;; and by sponsoring or convening national
conversations about key
issues in public
education and
education unionism.
Through print and direct communication, MITUL aims to contribute to a national
conversation about the role of teacher unions in key
issues in public
education.
On May 10, 2017, ASCD live - streamed the fifth Whole Child Symposium live from American University in Washington, D.C., for a

education that covered
issues of race, economics, culture, gender, and more.
