Each session will combine a short yoga and mindfulness warm - up with facilitated
conversation inspired
by readings from the discussion
book.
The course, designed for groups of eight to twelve participants, is based on a source
book of
readings that includes directions for self - facilitation
by the groups for guided
conversation about our food systems.
Initiate
conversations by telling your parents about a
book you are
reading, a movie you've seen, something you heard on TV or
read in the news.
Specifically, we expect higher - quality interactions described
by increased use of signs and symbols (e.g., gestures and words), established routines and rituals between partners (e.g.,
book reading) and more fluent and connected
conversations between children and their caregivers.
