challenged us to Grab a

Cook this month and because I wouldn't want to break from tradition too terribly much, I reached for my newest Green Kitchen Stories cookbook and found a recipe on page 127 I've been tweaking for quite some time.
The program will have seven stages, including a culinary arts competition in which teams of high school culinary arts students from throughout the country take on the
challenge of creating a delicious, nutritious school meal for $ 1 per meal; a Healthy Eating Crockpot 8 - week
cooking course for families, at the end of which participants and / or the individuals will receive a free crock pot; healthy recipe / healthy snack
cook book and monthly newsletter by student chefs; and supporting student chefs in developing and growing their own home gardens.
The
book is broken down in to 4 key areas: the introduction which explains the benefits and the basics of adopting a plant - based lifestyle, the recipe section with over 100 vegan recipes the whole family will love, a solutions guide to help you deal with any
challenges that a plant - based lifestyle may prevent, and a support section with
cooking guides, meal plans, and nutrient charts!
This year, we
challenged each other to a little Christmas
