I did this my first try because I knew the sweet potato would take longer to
cook than the onions and peppers... and the turkey was still almost burnt before the sweet potatoes got done.

Since sweet potato takes longer
than zucchini and
onion, I microwaved it whole for a couple of minute to start the
cooking and to make it easier to peel.

than you think you'll use.
We're in the South, so I used cane syrup (similar to molasses) instead of the maple, and since some reviewers said there wasn't enough pan juice, I

If I have the time to
cook myself lunch and I want something a little bit more filling
than a salad, I'll prepare some spaghetti squash with some spices,
onions, and arugula for added texture and flavor.
