Here is a great way to
cook tuna baby pasta at home.
When I was specifically looking for a recipe to
cook tuna (the first one I made was a sesame - crusted tuna that I didn't really cook properly), I came across the recipe for Coriander - Crusted Tuna with Black Bean Salsa.
(If raw - ish tuna isn't your thing,
cook your tuna for an extra minute or two per side.)
Briefly set aside while
you cook your tuna.
I did
cook the tuna per directions and found it to be a little too done for my taste, but as far as ingredients go it was perfect and made a beautiful presentation

1/2 cup short grain brown rice,
cooked according to package directions 1/2 lb sushi grade
tuna or salmon (or a mix), diced 2 tsp soy sauce 1 tsp rice vinegar 1/2 tsp sesame oil squirt of sriracha 1/2 tsp toasted sesame seeds 1/2 avocado, thinly sliced 1/4 cup edamame, thawed 1 radish, thinly sliced 1/2 cucumber, thinly sliced 1 jalapeno, thinly sliced 1 scallion, chopped spicy mayonnaise, for serving sweet sauce or teriyaki sauce, for serving
Ingredients: canned or fresh
tuna, canned or
cooked - at - home cannellini beans (or any white bean), red onion, olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
Grill the
tuna until seared on both sides and just
cooked through, about 4 minutes per side.
Reaching the age where I'm more independent now, both in my life and in my
cooking, I've been making an effort to only eat sustainable fish and avoid canned
tuna and other obvious choices.
