This bread is an ode to my dad and the cinnamon raisin bread bars he'd toast for his breakfast every morning when I was a kid (not for me — I turned my nose up at anything with mushy
cooked raisins in it).
I have a deep and abiding hatred for
cooked raisins in anything.

Once the granola is
cooked perfectly remove the tray from the oven and allow it to cool, then stir
in the
raisins.

A few of you mentioned last post that you really liked the extra ideas for kids so a few other items I try to keep ready that,
in the right combination, suffice as a meal: tortellini, tofu chunks, cut up bbq'd chicken, string cheese,
cooked peas, edamame, pomegranate seeds, grapes,
raisins, mandarins, fresh dates.

What I like about this recipe is, after it's
cooked you are supposed to take most, but not all of the sauce including the
raisins and olives and put it
in the blender and then pour it back over the top of the roast.
