I'm using the bob Evans pre
cooked turkey sausage & am curious how they compare points wise
I made this today, following your idea, but I used Jimmy Dean
cooked turkey sausage crumbles in place of the ham, I had thin sliced swiss cheese so I used that like lasagna noodles and layered it.
Layer a casserole dish in this order: croutons,
cooked turkey sausage, sauteed vegetables, cheese, and egg and milk mixture (previously whisked together).
I added cooked mushrooms,
cooked turkey sausage, and only one pound of hash browns which made the dish moist and flavorful.
Prepare and
cook the turkey sausage and potatoes ahead of time for extra-easy assembly.

Next time, I'm thinking about using
cooked Italian style
turkey sausage instead of the pepperoni.
