cooked with kefir, but this looks like a perfect way to use it!

you cook with kefir it does not cause any issues.
4) If
I cook with kefir, will the heat destroy its probiotic properties?

I feel like this is maybe a stupid question — but do you really get the probiotic benefits of
kefir if you
cook with it?
I do occasionally eat regular food, though I try to avoid enzyme depleted
cooked food as much as possible, and largely avoid meat, since I have lost my appetite for it, and the raw
Kefir supplies me
with all the protien I need.
You can
cook kefir; mix it
with vegetables and make bread, but know that heating
kefir grains would kill them.
Chris, I make a smoothie
with raw milk
kefir blended
with my oat / wheat porridge that I make (sprouted dehyrdated mix that I mill at home, then soak in water
with some
kefir for 2 days before
cooking on low heat).
Phase 1 — homemade meat or fish stock,
cooked vegetables (not starchy veggies like potatoes or sweet potatoes), homemade soup
with stock and veggies, bone marrow, juice from a vegetable ferment, fermented dairy (whey, sour cream,
kefir, yogurt), if tolerated, specific herbal teas
Also, this is a related question, but do you know... when you
cook / bake
with yogurt and
kefir, does that totally destroy all the nice little bacteria in there?
