Cookies are loaded with semi-sweet chocolate chunks and bake up soft
on the inside.
I decided to start experimenting with recipe testing based
on my flourless peanut
butter oatmeal
cookies.
Because as if chocolate, peanut

butter weren't enough, half of these
cookies are spread with more peanut
butter and the other half go into the oven with a marshmallow
on top.

Since I haven't been keen
on riding the green smoothie train recently, I decided to stuff the protein powder into some yummy peanut
butter cookies that I could snack
on throughout the day or after a workout.
I already have granola bars,
cookies, bars, and puppy chow peanut
butter and jelly recipes here
on the blog.
Both are round balls that are coated with confectioners sugar, and both are a shortbread - like
cookie that rely
on butter for their wonderful flavor.
I put a pat
on a waffle and added it to oatmeal, but maple
butter would be great in a milk - based drink, added to BBQ sauce, in a sweet - savory sandwich, between two
cookies....

cookie recipe that used flour just because Aldo preferred those (I actually LOVE the more intense peanut
butter taste of the 3 - ingredient
