I mean who wouldn't
want an amazing bite of java, milky chocolate, almond sweetness but as if that couldn't get better we have the buttery crunch of toffee that dissolves into the other
flavors almost immediately making it
cookie perfection!
I made the recipe as is and they were great with coffee but I
wanted a little more
flavor for a stand alone
cookie.
Sure
cookie bars and brownies are great, but sometimes you just
want a big

CLIF Kid Zbar Iced Oatmeal
Cookie has a chewy texture and a kid - friendly oatmeal
cookie flavor — with nutrients kids need and organic ingredients parents
want.
You can choose whatever type of chocolate you
want; I went with bittersweet, but next time I'll go for something a little sweeter, as there isn't a ton of sugar in the base (which is also nice — you can really taste the
cookie dough
flavor).
As we worked and played with it for frosting Christmas
cookies, the
flavor grew on us and it was actually nice having a frosted
cookie that didn't make you
want to gag from the sugary sweetness after biting into it!
With one basic recipe, you have a wealth of
cookie options at the ready, depending on what
flavorings (e.g., vanilla and other extracts, spices, citrus zest) and / or stir - ins (e.g., chocolate chips or chunks, dried fruit, nuts, seeds) you

wanted to recreate that texture and
flavor without the use of white flour or powdered sugar, so I used fiber rich dates to naturally sweeten and bind these «
cookies,» then added arrowroot to provide flour - like quality.
I
wanted big enough pieces that I would actually get a piece of Kit Kat bar in a bite, but if you just
want the
flavor in the
cookies, it would be fine to chop them up smaller.
We really
want to keep the
flavors dynamic and seasonal, but there are also
flavors like the Cinnamax — a Snickerdoodle
