As I embarked on a new diet and lifestyle plan, I took a deep interest in holistic nutrition, eating for wellness, and
cooking healing foods.

But we are conscious that it is an ordered world and that in a mysterious sense it obeys its own laws - thus we are able to see how it is possible to harness energy to provide people with heat and light, how it is possible to grow,
cook, and preserve
food, how we can
heal diseases, and so on.
Speaking of takeaway, the initial reason for my
food safari was an urgent craving to delve into the richness and
healing properties of Ayurvedic nutrition and
cooking and to sink knee - deep in learning about how to eat right for your constitution or dosha.
Spinach can be considered a
healing food because it is a great source of plant - based (or non-heme) iron when
cooked.
