If you've never

I haven't
cooked with tofu frequently enough to feel confident cooking it, but these sound like an easy introduction!

By the way, you don't need any fancy equipment to
cook with tofu — a tofu press is a nice luxury, but definitely not a necessity.

cooking veggies (if using a non-stick pan you'd need less, but I don't recommend non-stick pans) 1 Tbs turmeric sea salt + cayenne to taste 4 eggs or 1/2 block of firm
tofu chopped Left over grains (optional)
The marinade will fill your kitchen
with the most amazing scent while the
tofu is
cooking.
Meanwhile, mix together the honey, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, coriander, lime juice and add to the pan
with the
cooked tofu and gently
cook for 4 minutes.

Baked
Tofu with Mushrooms slow
cooked in Roasted Pepper Sauce I know this might be unusual to see, but trust me because this was really delicious.
For an easy way to make your own crispy
tofu at home, simply do the following: (1) press a 14 or 16 ounce block of extra firm
tofu for at least 30 minutes to remove excess water (lay
tofu on a cutting board, top
with lots of paper towels, and then top
with a heavy book or pot); (2) chop the
tofu into cubes; (3) toss
tofu with 1 1/2 tablespoons of coconut aminos (or soy sauce or tamari) along
with 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil and red chili flakes; (4) add in 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch and toss to coat; (5) spread
tofu cubes out on a parchment paper - lined baking tray; (5) Bake at 400 degrees Farenheit for 25 minutes until crispy and golden on the outside, tossing halfway through
cooking time.
I marinate the
tofu in preserved lemons for a few hours before I
cook them
with the other ingredients.
Thinned out
with a bit of broth in a saucepan, I then sautéed a couple handfuls of broccoli in it, added tiny pieces of
tofu, a couple big spoonfuls of
cooked quinoa, and some toasted almonds.
For those not familiar
with it, tempeh, like
tofu is a soy based product, but this one is fermenting
cooked soybeans and then forming the mixture into a firm, dense cake.
TIP: Enjoy this salad
with some baked cripsy
tofu / tempeh, or
cooked pseudo-grains like quinoa, buckwheat groats, farro — for complete protein!
Prior to putting
tofu on the grill, clean the grill meticulously and then coat
with non-stick
cooking spray or rub the grates
with oil.
I love ordering
tofu when out at asian restaurants but haven't
cooked much
with it at home.

with cooked peas, cubes of
tofu, spring onions (scallions), and a variety of shredded seaweed.
On a hot grill pan, lightly brushed
with oil, grill
tofu for 3 minutes on 1 side, then flip and
cook for a further 2 minutes.
