Aside from the fact that you can cook so many things without any oil, I also love this appliance because I'm a super busy mom and
it cooks things fast.

things we could be doing to encourage children's acceptance of healthier school meals: imposing meaningful restrictions on children's junk food advertising; requiring food education in schools — not just nutrition education, but offering kids a real understanding of our food system, and overtly inoculating them against the allure of hyper - processed and
fast food; teaching all children basic
cooking skills; getting more gardens into schools; encouraging restaurants to ditch the standard breaded - and - fried children's menu; imposing taxes on soda (and even junk food); improving food access; and so much more.

Now that I've been using this
thing often (aka: daily) for several weeks, I'm kicking myself for not trying it much sooner, as it drastically shortens the
cooking time of almost any food and creates better (and
faster) results than a slow
cooker.
And if you must
cook during the hotter parts of the day, make it go a bit
faster by cutting veggies into small pieces or
cooking things that don't take too long, like eggs on the stovetop or veggies that can be quickly steamed.
It's a
fast read, about 80 pages (you'll read it in a day) and you'll learn every single
thing you need to know about healthy food, how to eat healthy, what foods to avoid, how to
cook fast and on budget etc..
The trick is to
cook them until they're bright green in colour -
