Warm colors draw the walls in, making the room seem smaller, but
cool colors tend to make a small space feel bigger.
Not exact matches
As mentioned before, the
color blue, especially the
coolest blues,
tend to suppress appetite.
We
tend to think of grey as a
color for only the
cooler months but I love it paired with neutrals for spring like i've done here with my Chloe Nile Bag.
Also, I think lighter
colors tend to keep you
cooler, whereas black attracts the sun.
We
tend to think of gray with
cool colors and brown with warm
colors but when you switch it up, it can be a really great effect.
The tans start to fade once the summer is gone and my skin
tends to get dry with
cooler weather, so one of the most important things for me this time of year is hydration and adding some
color to brighten up my skin, ditching the bronzer and bringing out pretty lip
colors and rosy cheeks to pop during the holiday season.

Cool color family, there is no reason why you shouldn't continue to look beautiful in your crisp

Best
colors for me
tend to be some
cooler spring or warmer winter - and clear
tends to look the best so long as it is not too stark or bright.
When the
cooler temps hit and we start grabbing our Fall clothing, we
tend to push bolder
colors aside.
Often both fair and very dark skin fall into the
cool category, while olive, gold and tan skin tones
tend to look best in warm
colors.
It still may be a seasonal thing though, because the
colors I picked are less warm than what I usually go for, and as I learned on other blogs throughout the last weeks, many people
tend to go for
cooler shades in the cold (see Dagmaras beautiful winter look for example).
My face
tends towards being ruddy and I go easy on reds, I don't need red reflecting on me, I've got plenty already, so I stick with light shades of pink and try to wear it with
cool colors.
For Fall, we
tend to think of warmer
colors that remind us of leaves changing
colors like, rust, olive, and mustard yellow, but the
cooler colors work just as well and can be a refreshing change.
In general, given the same saturation and value,
colors that are warmer in hue (contain more yellow)
tend to come forward in a painting, and those that are
cooler (contain more blue),
tend to recede.
While confusing this with global warming is nonsense — it is quite true that light
colored roofs
tend to be
cooler than dark
colored roofs.
Images
tended toward the
cooler end of the
color spectrum — the G5 Plus rendered our office carpet a little grayer than the Blade V8 Pro, for example — but skin, skies, and street corners came out crisp, bright, and clear.
The new Pixel 2
tends to take slightly
cooler photos, and getting the white balance a bit better seemed to help with
color reproduction in some scenes.
Well - lit outdoor shots were colorful, if lacking in contrast and
tending toward the
cooler end of the
color spectrum, and rarely looked overexposed.
