corresponding to plants deficient in protein SUMOylation.
This construct was used to introduce the
corresponding human FOP mutation R206H and the constitutive active variant of the receptor Q207D by Site - Directed Mutagenesis (QuikChange, Stratagene) using the following primer pairs (with lower - case letters indicating the nucleotides changed relative to
wild -
type Acvr1 sequence): R206H - chAcvr1 - fwd, 5 ′ - GCAAAGAACAGTGGCTCaCCAGATCACGCTTGTGG - 3 ′ and R206H - chAcvr1 - rev, 5 ′ - CCACAAGCGTGATCTGGtGAGCCACTGTTCTTTGC - 3 ′; chAcvr1 - ca - Q207D - fwd, 5 ′ - GCAAAGAACAGTGGCTCGCgAcATCACGCTTGTGGAGTG - 3 ′ and chAcvr1 - ca - Q207D - rev, 5 ′ - CACTCCACAAGCGTGATgTcGCGAGCCACTGTTCTTTGC - 3 ′).
To complement the experimental data, we also performed MD simulations on the
wild -
type B. licheniformis, E. cloacea (NMC - A), P. vulgaris (Bla - B), TEM - 1, ENCA, GNCAMP, GNCA4 and PNCA β - lactamases, as well as the
corresponding GNCAMP - W229D, GNCA4 - W229D / F290W and PNCA - W229D variants (PDB IDs: 4BLM, 1BTL, 3ZDJ, 4B88, 5FQQ, 4C6Y, 4UHU, 5FQI respectively).
Wild -
type animals showed an accumulation of antisense and sense RNA
corresponding to the pos - 1 trigger dsRNA sequence that appeared to be very similar to the dsRNA sequences found in the RDE - 4 immune complex.
Transgenic (Tg) mice overexpressing FGF21 are markedly smaller than
wild -
type mice and have a
corresponding decrease in circulating IGF - 1 concentrations despite having elevated growth hormone (GH) levels....
