Don't get me wrong, I always love my juices, but I find I so often resort to drinking them with a
couple of slices of toast with avocado and tomato.
I have been struggling with breakfasts lately — I usually just grab a
couple slices of GF bread to make some
toast at work..........
To use in your healthy lunchbox, simply pack up a
couple of slices of crisp
toast in one container (I like to
slice mine into quarters for easy, bite sized chunks), and the sauce in another.
I like mine wrapped up in a collard green leaf OR even served up between a
couple slices of gluten - free rye
toast.
Let me explain: I made the little stack
of Protein French
Toast you see here by using a
couple of slices of the protein banana bread I uploaded yesterday.
While the soup is simmering, add the 2
slices of baguette to the oven for 5 minutes, cut a
couple slices of gruyere cheese and queso Manchego, divide the
slices of cheese on top
of the
toasted breads, season with a little dried parsley and add the
slices of cheesy
toast to the oven for about 8 minutes, until the cheese is melted and has a lightly browned crust on top
I really like the idea
of just having to bake it in the morning — and having it all done at once (A
couple of days ago I was making a standard type
of French
toast, cooking the
slices individually, and ended up burning it somewhat because I had to take a phone call.
I used the unsweetened almond milk as did Tracy in her note in August 2012 she also had the green colour Bread was very moist & so lovely
toasted despite the small
slices any ideas as to why it was so small Could I double the recipe & put it in a larger loaf tin or perhaps double the amount & put it in the same size tin mius a

We used the leftover roasted loin filet for sandwiches the next day: just add a
couple of slices of roasted loin filet, a little spicy brown mustard,
sliced provolone, a bit
of baby spinach and
toast the sandwich until the cheese melts.
Tipped onto a
couple of slices of thickly buttered wheatmeal
toast, it looked delicious.

What better way to start the day than with a nice cuppa and a
couple of slices of toast with butter and jam.
There were plates
of vegan avocado
toast at the cocktail party, and at around 7 p.m., I said «screw it,» and I had a
couple slices (and washed down with a vodka spritzer, might I add).
While the bread is
toasting, fry up a
couple slices of bacon in a skillet.
This is a handy function — and great for the price — allowing you to
toast just a
couple of slices if necessary — or to have different browning settings depending on taste.
