So in addition to the Top 10
of the
year, I wanted to share a
couple more posts — these are the posts that I actually liked or feel represent my
year of writing, even if no one else liked them or tweeted about them, even if they are an out -
of - fashion style
of blogging like story - telling or moment - capturing.
I have a
couple of favorite themes from my time as part
of this amazing group — over a
year and a half, minus my two
blogging breaks during my first trimester and after Baby Smiles was born.
I've been procrastinating about
blogging for a
couple of years now..
But you know what, I have learned some amazing stuff over the last
couple of years of this
blogging nonsense!
Chris's review led me to reflect a bit on our book, and I thought it might be appropriate to close the
blogging year with a
couple of posts about it.
I met Nicole
of Cedar & Rush at a
blogging event a
couple of years ago and Kelly from Just Browsing at our Sullivan's event last
year.
My Blogger Bestie When I fist met Anna at a
blogging conference a
couple of years ago, it took me about 30 seconds to realize how much I adored her.
She moved away and I kept up with that blog until I realized, in the
couple of years I'd spent learning about
blogging, social media marketing and so on, I'd never established a blog with a personal platform.
I've been
blogging for more than six
years, although I only really got my shit together a
couple of years ago and started using social media properly, so it feels like the collaborations have been a long time coming.
I was introduced to Stitch Fix at a

Blogging has definitely changed over the last
couple of years but Influencer marketing keeps rising so I don't think it's dead.

couple of years ago, I
blogged about the launch
of PW Select, an online supplement to the regular PW magazine.
January 2010 I started
blogging and by the end
of 2012, so we are talking a good
couple of years of blogging here, I built a speaking platform for myself, I had started podcasting, I was
blogging a
couple times a week, good community
of people and then boom, the book offer comes in from a publisher in the U.S. and I didn't go with that initial offer but it made me think very seriously about going back to that goal
of someday writing a book and so I was introduced to a literary agent and I obviously went the traditional publishing route with Virtual Freedom but there's nothing wrong with the self publishing route at all.

couple of years ago, I
blogged about advertising - supported books, including a late 1980s project called the Larger Agenda Series from Whittle Communications.

couple of years, the travel
blogging climate has morphed into something totally different.
I am by no means an expert on the topic, and the internet is flooded with amazing advice on travel
blogging, but I have picked up a thing or two in the last
couple of years as a blogger.
After quite a few
years of travel
blogging I met up with a
couple of other travel bloggers for the first time just last
year — and it was such a thrill!

blogging was all the rage on the Internet a
couple of years ago.
* A
couple of really good galleries in premium places that invite you to have a solo exhibition or group showing once a
year; * one or two pop up shows a
year in a suitable spot in a town near you (empty shops in a main street are great and cheap); * an enthusiastic well networked agent (I asked a bright young girl who worked in visual merchandising / interior design /
blogging to be my agent in a city 3,000 miles from home and she has been fantastic for me); * maybe one suitable art competition a
year (I find art competitions expensive and often depressing); * and back it all up with the content marketing strategies for online sales and marketing.
Out - law by Pinsent / Masons we've
blogged about over the last
couple of years, won the overall Best Website Award.
I took an on - line course on
blogging with Amanda a
couple of years ago and learned a LOT.

blogging» hasn't changed much over the last
couple of years, «microblogging» has seen a rapid rise since early 2007 (presumably due to Twitter).»
I'm quite sure that half
of the law deans in the country use that line, but perhaps, in a
couple of years, they'll modify it by telling students to «look around — half
of you will be
blogging lawyers someday.»
