For those who haven't played before, you may not know the ins and outs of the series» notoriously complex
crafting system, which allows you to make
healing items from things scavenged from the world.
Alongside the various
items you
craft from the materials you harvest in the world or from monsters (things like
healing potions, food to increase your stamina, or traps to immobilize monsters), there are new specialized tools that add more gameplay options both during and outside of combat.
I have only the
healing potions set to auto -
craft, since I know I'll always want the maximum number of them at all times, but more complex
items should be
crafted manually.

craft more ammunition for the various weapons at Sebastian's disposal, or the occasional
healing item.

craft: weaponry and offensive
items such as bombs to assist you in battle;
healing items to keep your characters in tip top shape; accessories and armour to customise your characters; or even key ingredients used to make other

healing items and food, or hunting troublesome monsters in nearby areas.
