And while this was the life we
crafted and one that gave us a lot of satisfaction to build, it's sort of mind - blowing to stay in a yurt on ninety - six acres, a tiny cabin in Pray, MT, a horse farm in Wisconsin, and realize that you can strip
away a whole lot of the
stuff and space and live really, really well.
I can totally relate to the too much
crafting stash — I'm always learning how to do something new and inevitably get carried
away with buying
stuff for it.
When we moved here, I knew that my
craft space would be in the living room, so I searched Craigslist for a few weeks to find a secretary style desk so I could do my crafty
stuff freely, but be able to hide it
away when necessary.
I filled 2 garbage bags full of things I decided to throw
away, and then found a better place for the random home decor
stuff on the top shelf and the sewing and
craft stuff.
