You need to
crank up the volume just to hear what's being said.
My only complaint is that the dialogue seems muted compared to the ambient sounds and musical background, so you really have to
crank up the volume just to hear it.

By moving away from the source, you are effectively reducing its intensity,
just as you would instinctively rush to dial down the
volume on an iPod accidentally
cranked up to the highest setting.
