Full definition
And they wonder why the publishing industry is in trouble...
between crap books and publishers who just don't give a crap, it's a wonder they've survived this long.
Besides the obvious goal of making a profit, I think traditional publishers want to separate their books from the perceived self -
pub crap book pack and are doing that with higher prices.
The world is indeed filled
with crap books that people write in a few hours just trying to make a quick buck.
I don't think anyone with any sense would argue that because of a ton
of crap books, consumers will stop buying ebooks.
In fact, publishing and marketing for me is so easy, all I really need is more books — which is why I'm not only spending more time writing, but actively partnering with writers to write books in bestselling genres that have a high chance of making money (and
not crap books; I'm hiring literary geniuses and we're going to write amazing books).
Helpful hint:) Or even better, return to your original comment... «read the bible, that piece
of crap book» etc..
Why anyone gives that
crap book an ounce of authority these days is beyond logic
Not
a crap book or a fake book or a vanity - press book or a desperate book, but a book book little different from any other similarly - bound, professionally - produced book that I have owned or read.
If you were going to look for the graveyard of
crap books, self - publishing wins hands down.
