I plan to eat / drink very lightly during labor (if I can tolerate foods) and then want to be prepared for post delivery with my own foods so that I don't fall off the wagon (4 weeks strictly paleo) with crappy cafeteria food.
Then there were the college years, where I was often an emotional wreck, ate crappy cafeteria food, pulled all - nighters cramming for exams, not to mention the experimentation with drinking and smoking (cigs, cloves and other).
Cross out «low income families» and substitute «school nutrition directors» and you have a pretty cogent explanation of why we have so much crappyfood in school cafeterias.
